Hossein Tavazoni-Zadeh is a performance maker, researcher, and educator. Drawing on both artistic practice and Cultural Memory Studies, his projects often explore how people remember the past, how memories become connected to places, and how these memories continue to shape contemporary life. Working with archives, heritage, and everyday experiences, he brings together research, performance, and community engagement. Hossein has lectured and led workshops in France, the Netherlands, and Iran, and has collaborated on a range of productions as a writer, dramaturge, stage designer, and performer. He recently completed his PhD at the University of Groningen, where he researched how film, media, and fiction influence the ways people remember home and the built environment.
